The first time I used Frankland Grinding to sharpen my dog grooming scissors I have to admit I was a little more than apprehensive, due to some of the horror stories I've heard from different people regarding other not so reputable companies. My worries were soon put to rest, as Arthur did a wonderful job sharpening & rebalancing all my scissors. Using Arthur has saved me a small fortune, as I don't have to buy a new set of scissors.
I would defiantly recommend Arthur to anyone who needs his services.

Hello Arthur, I phoned you a few times but was just bad timing I'd say as I never got through but yes, I have been extremely busy. As for the machine, its an absolute steal Arthur. Im delighted with how it arrived and all the bits that came with it. Needless to say the machine was well minded and I know if us paddy's were to sell a machine like that only half of those bits would have arrived with it. The last two companys I worked for did'nt have quite as many bits, still figuring out what some of them are for!! I am running it 3 phase for the moment but as you said only one motor is actually 3 phase so I will change that in the near future but for now I'd prefer if the motor payed for itself! Anyway its a great machine and thank you very much. I'll give you a call in the next few days.

I had been without a scissor sharpener for a while and was so happy when I found Arthur! A very polite man to deal with. Made me feel very welcome at his home whilst I waited for him to sharpen my scissors. I would definately recommend him to friends as his prices are extremely reasonable!

Dear Arthur, Many thanks for the two days training. Although I have quite a few years experience of sharpening knives, scissors were new to me. I always self train myself in everything I do, but I can honestly say that two days with you was money well spent, and was something that would have cost me more money in lost custom in the long run, as I would have never got it right straight away.
You filled me with confidence and enthusiasm, and made me feel very welcome, which was appreciated. Your sincerity and honesty was heart-warming, and I hope this is just the beginning of a long working relationship and friendship. I wish you all the very best Arthur as you deserve it. You are a unique character, don't ever change! This world would be a better place, if more people were like you.
If you ever need a reference, I would be more than happy to recommend your services.
